Uniform/PE Kit Expectations

A reminder to parents and carers about our expectations for school uniform and PE kit. Full details can be found on our website: https://www.penistonestjohns.co.uk/page/school-uniform/128463.

Please ensure that children come to school in the correct uniform each day. Children must not wear false nails, and if hair dye is used, only natural hair colours are permitted.

Free School Meals information (FSM)

The Government have announced that from September, all children in households on Universal Credit are entitled to Free School Meals, regardless of income. This change is expected to make many more families eligible for support.

If you do not currently receive Free School, Meals please see the poster attached from Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council (BMBC) advising how to apply for Free School Meals and how to find out more information.
