Weekly General Reminders

Weekly General Reminders @ 14/11/2025

In order to reduce the amount of text messages/emails sent during the week, we are aiming to provide a short summary of general reminders each week.

Road Safety

Due to the current situation with the crossing patrol please can you make sure you go over road safety measures with your child if they are walking to school on their own or with younger brothers and sisters.  If you feel your children could be in danger, please make alternative plans to bring them to school with an adult.  We have had a couple of reported situations where drivers have said children are crossing in unsafe places or running across the road without looking. There are also situations reported where traffic is driving too fast.  In school we have gone over how to cross the road safety on several occasions since there has been no crossing patrol person but please help us to keep the children safe.  If you know of anyone who would be interested in the role please encourage them to apply for the post via the local authority even if it is for a temporary period of time.  Thank you to those parents who are helping to lobby the council and get MPs involved in trying to improve the crossing situation on the road. We really do appreciate it.

Discos

Reminder that all discos will be held in school on Wednesday 26th November.

Please see letters on website for timings of different year groups.

The period for donations can be from November through to a final collection on Friday 12th December. Any donations of new toys can be dropped at either office. Thank you!
