In order to reduce the amount of text messages/emails sent during the week, we are aiming to provide a short summary of general reminders each week.

Uniform/PE Kit Expectations

Please can we remind parents about the expectations for appropriate uniform and PE kit – see website for details https://www.penistonestjohns.co.uk/page/school-uniform/128463. We recommend that jewellery is removed for PE lessons and staff are not able to do this.  Children not wearing correct PE kit will be given one reminder and then after this, they will be expected to change into spare school kit for the duration of the PE lesson.

Flu Immunisation

Please see attached poster with information from Barnsley Immunisation Services. Please complete the form, even if you do not wish your child to be vaccinated. The Immunisation team will be in school on the 8th October for Reception to Year 6 classes.
